Step 6
Were entirely ready to have God remove all these defects
of character.
Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to
the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation
of Jesus Christ; As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according
to the former lusts in your ignorance: But as he which hath called
you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it
is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.

Thessalonians 4:3-8
This is the will of God, your holiness: that you refrain from immorality, 4
that each of you know how to acquire a wife for himself in holiness and honor,
5 not in lustful passion as do the Gentiles who do not know God; 6 not to take
advantage of or exploit a brother in this matter, forthe Lord is an avenger
in all these things, as we told you before and solemnly affirmed. 7 For God
did not call us to impurity but to holiness. 8 Therefore, whoever disregards
this, disregards not a human being but God, who (also) gives his holy Spirit
to you.
Titus
2:11-14
For the grace of God has appeared, saving all 12 and training us to reject
godless ways and worldly desires and to live temperately, justly, and devoutly
